Who This Course Is For
This course is suitable if you:
- Work with Indonesian colleagues or regional teams and need smoother day to day coordination
- Use Indonesian for routine discussion, updates, and everyday work interaction rather than formal presentation
- Already have basic Indonesian and want to use it more effectively at work
- Prefer practical spoken language that helps reduce misunderstanding in daily collaboration

Typical Situations Covered
The course focuses on language used in situations such as:
- Talking about jobs and daily work activities
- Using shared facilities and public services
- Buying, ordering, and coordinating everyday needs
- Exchanging information through basic media and messaging
- Navigating social and cultural expectations in work settings
Course Structure & Delivery
- The course is 2 x 90 min sessions per week, for a total of 22.5 contact hours
- Live, instructor-led online classes
- Structured progression using official BIPA materials
Entry Level
This course is designed for learners with some prior exposure to Indonesian. Ideally, learners should be advanced beginners (CEFR A2).A short assessment may be recommended to ensure appropriate placement.
Assessment & Certification
Learners who complete the course may take a short post-course assessment.
Based on performance, a CEFR-aligned certificate can be issued to reflect the learner’s demonstrated level at the end of the course.
Outcomes & Next Steps
By the end of the course, learners typically:
- Communicate more confidently with Indonesian colleagues
- Handle everyday work-related interaction with less reliance on English
- Better understand how Indonesian is used in real working contexts
Learners who wish to continue can progress into role-specific or sector-specific training.

- To cancel or reschedule a class, kindly provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be counted as attended, and no rescheduling or refund will be offered.
- In the case of only two learners enrolling, the course will be moved to a semi-private format of 20 academic hours.
