Who this is for
For new managers, team leads and supervisors who want practical English for their role. The course is designed around CEFR B2 communication. You should already be comfortable with the language needed at that starting level.
Skills and focus
Four practical units focus on the communication you use at work:
- Clarify expectations, workloads, deadlines and working arrangements
- Discuss management styles and make recommendations
- Resolve team conflict and agree action plans
- Give performance feedback and handle sensitive conversations
How it works
16 hours of private, live online instruction across eight 2-hour sessions. Build skills step by step through role-play and realistic management and team-leadership situations, with live correction and feedback from your teacher.
What to expect
Practise handling management and team-leadership situations more clearly and confidently. Your progress is shown through the tasks you complete and the feedback you apply.
You may request a short practical assessment. A Certificate of Completion can be issued based on attendance and demonstrated communication skills.
