India is one of Singapore’s most important economic partners, particularly in technology, finance, and global services. India is also linguistically diverse, and languages such as Tamil, one of Singapore’s official languages, are widely used in southern India and across the global Tamil diaspora.
Learning Hindi can help you:
communicate more effectively with colleagues and teams in India
strengthen relationships with Indian partners and clients
navigate everyday situations while travelling or working in Indian cities
better understand Indian media and cultural contexts
For professionals working with India-based teams, even basic Hindi can improve collaboration.
Our Hindi courses are designed for learners in Singapore who work closely with teams in India or travel there frequently.
Typical learners include:
professionals managing teams based in India
executives working with Indian partners or clients
individuals relocating to Indian cities for work
professionals who collaborate regularly with Indian colleagues
Lessons focus on practical communication used in workplace and everyday situations across India.
Hindi is spoken by more than 600 million people worldwide, making it one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. It is one of the official languages of India and is widely used across northern and central regions of the country.
Hindi is written using the Devanagari script, which is read from left to right and consists of characters that represent syllables rather than individual letters.
The language belongs to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European language family, which also includes languages such as Bengali, Marathi, and Punjabi. Because of historical influences, Hindi vocabulary includes words derived from Sanskrit, Persian, and Arabic.
Our Hindi courses follow the internationally recognised Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which describes language proficiency from beginner to advanced.
