By the end of this 16-hour spoken Malay course, you will be fully equipped to:

We focus on practical applications so you can use your new skills in your neighborhood immediately. Key situations covered include:

• Everyday interactions in neighborhood spaces and local food centers.
• Friendly conversations at local shops and markets.
• Asking for directions or assistance while out and about.
• Speaking smoothly with service staff.
• Participating in simple community and family conversations.

Course Structure & Delivery

• Format: 8 × 2-hour private, live online sessions (16 hours total).
• Progression: Step-by-step guidance from basic sounds and phrases to simple, applied conversations.
• Practical Practice: Heavy emphasis on active speaking, listening, and engaging role-play activities customized for Singapore living to achieve fluency fast.
• Expert Guidance: Immediate feedback and guided corrections from your dedicated instructor.

Entry Level

This course is built for beginners or learners with limited prior exposure to Malay. No advanced knowledge of the language is required! We start with the absolute basics, covering essential sounds and practical phrases for everyday interactions. If you have some basic knowledge, we can conduct a short assessment to ensure we start at the perfect level for you. You will feel supported every step of the way.

Assessment, Certification, and Next Steps

Learners wishing to track their progress can request a short practical assessment at the end of the program. Certification may be issued based on your attendance and demonstrated communication skills.

Course Outcomes: After completing the course, you will notice a significant improvement in your daily interactions. You will feel highly confident using Malay in daily, real-world situations, easily understanding common phrases, and relying less on English during casual chats.
