What You Will Learn

By the end of this 16-hour spoken Mandarin course, you will be fully equipped to:

1. Greet people naturally in casual social settings.
2. Introduce yourself and engage in polite small talk.
3. Order food and drinks with ease at local eateries.
4. Join simple group conversations comfortably.
5. Handle basic misunderstandings without immediately switching to English.

Real-World Social Scenarios

We focus on practical applications so you can use your new language skills immediately. Key situations covered include:

• Meeting people for the first time and making introductions.
• Socializing with friends, colleagues, and acquaintances.
• Ordering at restaurants, hawker centers, and casual eateries.
• Talking about everyday topics like plans, time, and the weather.
• Navigating a night out comfortably in Mandarin.

• Format: 8 × 2-hour private, live online sessions (16 hours total).
• Progression: Step-by-step guidance from basic phrases to simple social conversations.
• Practical Practice: Heavy emphasis on active speaking and listening practice customized for Singapore living.
• Expert Guidance: Immediate feedback and guided corrections from your professional instructor.

Entry Level

This course is suitable for beginners (A1–A2 level) or adult learners with limited prior exposure. No advanced knowledge of the Mandarin language is required. A short assessment may be conducted to confirm the appropriate starting point for your language journey to ensure you feel supported every step of the way.

Assessment, Certification, and Next Steps

Learners wishing to track their progress can request a short practical assessment at the end of the program. A Certificate of Completion may be issued based on your attendance and demonstrated communication ability.

Course Outcomes: After completing the course, you will notice a significant improvement in your social interactions. You will feel significantly more confident participating in social settings, join conversations more naturally and fluidly, and rely less on English during informal, everyday exchanges.
