• Plan to study abroad in Spain or other Spanish-speaking regions in Europe.
• Need to confidently navigate university life and campus facilities in Spanish.
• Want to feel more prepared and comfortable before relocating from Singapore.
• Have little or no prior exposure to the Spanish language.

What You Will Learn

By the end of this 16-hour practical Spanish course, you will be fully equipped to:

1. Confidently introduce yourself and share your background in academic settings.
2. Ask and respond to simple classroom questions during your studies.
3. Talk about your university courses and understand basic instructions from lecturers.
4. Manage basic daily interactions smoothly, such as finding student accommodation.
5. Participate in simple, engaging discussions with less hesitation.

Real-World Social Scenarios

We focus on practical applications so you can use your new skills on campus immediately. Key situations covered include:

• Introducing yourself in a university setting to peers and professors.
• Asking and answering questions confidently during your classes.
• Navigating university facilities, student services, and administration.
• Managing accommodation inquiries and daily living needs.
• Participating in simple academic and social discussions with your peers.

Course Structure & Delivery

• Format: 8 × 2-hour private, live online sessions (16 hours total).
• Progression: Step-by-step guidance from essential basics to applied student communication.
• Practical Practice: Heavy emphasis on active speaking and listening practice customized for student life abroad.
• Expert Guidance: Immediate feedback, guided correction, and structured support from your dedicated instructor.

Entry Level

This course is designed for beginners (A1–A2 level) or learners with limited prior exposure to Spanish. No advanced knowledge of the language is required! We start with the essentials needed for student life. If you have some basic knowledge, a short assessment may be conducted before you start to confirm the appropriate starting level and ensure the best experience for you. You will feel supported every step of the way.

Assessment, Certification, and Next Steps

Learners wishing to track their progress can request a short practical assessment at the end of the program. A Certificate of Completion may be issued based on your attendance and demonstrated communication ability.

Course Outcomes: After completing the course, you will notice a significant improvement in your academic and social interactions. You will feel much more confident communicating in Spanish across various settings, easily understand common classroom language, and actively participate in simple university-related conversations.
